Utilising as many recycled materials as possible, each box exists as a self- contained world, operating according to its own particular narrative. However, while each box has a sculptural presence, it is basically a container, and meant to be used as such. They are born of humble origins: an old newspaper, a piece of cardboard box, some pencils,a broken mirror.. these common-place items cry out to be transformed into new worlds containing new creatures; there are many possible lives to be had from an old cereal packet. Materials used include card, papier-mache, shaved pencils, driftwood, mirror pieces, wire, plaster, wood, polymer clay, beads, felt, silk thread, ribbon, acrylic paint, varnish. Please see individual boxes for prices.
