"Don't worry little cat, you've done nothing wrong. This means that nothing bad will happen to you, now or forever". This black and white shorthaired domestic cat had a trauma-induced psychotic episode after a small terrier was introduced to her home; as a result she developed dissociative disorder and has created another, separate personality as a coping mechanism. She is now once again living in a quiet, indoor environment. She is on thorazine and waiting for the nurse to take her to the "special room" where the doctor will help her. She is not worried because the nurse says he's a nice man and she'll like it there. Cats: cotton canvas, wire, acrylic. 4 inches tall. Padded cell: cotton canvas, stuffing, card,papier-mache, acrylic. 7 inches tall, 6 wide, 4 deep.
