The temporary death of a raindrop #1. Trouble has brewed, rain is going to fall. The water's surface shakes with excitement but only for a moment, as long as it takes for a splash to erupt and dissipate. The weight of the water, its steadying hold, is happy to absorb the crisis. Death has occurred. Peace is restored. Life is on its way. So it goes on. A teardrop does the same thing, more quietly. Papier-mache, mirror, wire, clay, pencils, acrylic, matt varnish.
7x5 inches 13 and a half inches tall.
